EMERGE was presented at KEY – The Energy Transition Expo 2026, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to energy transition and sustainable innovation, held in Rimini, Italy, from 4–6 March 2026.

Represented by project partner EnGreen, the project was showcased at the exhibition through discussions highlighting EMERGE’s vision and ongoing activities supporting sustainable energy development across Africa. Marta Lupattelli, Project Manager at EnGreen, introduced the project and engaged with stakeholders around opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the role of energy system modelling in enabling informed decision-making.

Bringing together more than 1,000 exhibitors and participants from 59 countries, KEY Energy provided an important platform for connecting technology, policy, research, and investment communities while increasing the visibility of initiatives supporting the global energy transition.

Participation in international events such as KEY Energy contributes to strengthening the EMERGE network and creating opportunities for future collaboration while positioning the project within broader discussions shaping sustainable energy systems.
