May 14, 2026
2nd EMERGE AU–AU Study Visit and 3rd Policy Lab to Take Place in Morocco, 24-25 June 2026
May 14, 2026The EMERGE Green Africa project will organise its 3rd Co-design Workshop on 3 June 2026 in an online format hosted by Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM). The workshop is part of the project’s collaborative activities focused on strengthening clean energy transition planning and supporting AU–EU cooperation through stakeholder engagement and knowledge exchange.
The EMERGE Co-design Workshops are designed as collaborative spaces where project partners, researchers, experts, and stakeholders can exchange ideas, test approaches, and contribute to the development of tools and methodologies supporting sustainable energy transition pathways in African contexts. The workshops also aim to strengthen dialogue between technical experts and decision-makers while ensuring that the project’s tools and outputs reflect local realities and practical implementation needs.
The 3rd Co-design Workshop will focus on the presentation and discussion of EMERGE tools and knowledge resources developed within the project. The programme includes sessions dedicated to CEPIA, GREENADVISE, the EMERGE database, and the EMERGE Knowledge Base.
The EMERGE project brings together African and European partners to support sustainable, inclusive, and resilient clean energy transitions through modelling tools, policy dialogue, and innovation-driven collaboration. Within the consortium, ESEIA contributes to the coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities linked to the EMERGE R&I and participatory lab activities.
