The EMERGE Project is proud to support the 12th ESEIA Lecture in its distinguished international series, “Sustainable Energy Innovation Systems for Climate Neutrality.” This upcoming lecture, set to take place on 5 December 2024, will be held online from 19:00 – 21:00 CET and will focus on Energy System Modelling in the EU and AU. It will explore innovative approaches to sustainable energy and resource management that are crucial for advancing the global green transition.

Through the EMERGE Project and OpenMod4Africa, the lecture will highlight the practical use of data-driven approaches that guide strategic decision-making, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and support the development of resilient and sustainable energy solutions tailored to local contexts. These projects illustrate the transformative potential of energy system modelling for mapping and evolving energy systems in both the EU and AU, ultimately contributing to the global green transition.
